What is a Flat Fee MLS Listing?  It is an alternative to the traditional agency listing where you pay a full commission (usually between 6%and 7% of the sale price).  With this plan you pay $499 up front to list your home in the MLS (multiple listing service) but pay 0% commission.

So why would an agent want to sell my house if I don't want to pay a commission?  When you formally list a home with a real estate agency you generally agree to pay a 6% and 7% commission.  The listing agency customarily submits your home to the MLS and offers half of the commission to any other agency that brings a buyer.  By using our Flat Fee System we agree to list your home in the MLS for you.  If an MLS agent brings you a buyer you would then offer a commission split of 2.5% to 3.5% (whatever YOU wish to offer) but ONLY if a buyer's agent brings you a buyer.  If YOU find the buyer you will NOT owe any agent a commission!   It's that simple.
